Service Description

Whether this is your first writing class or you’re finishing your next book, our workshops helps writers grow and connect with a community of passionate writers. Our Writing & Wellness workshops are available both virtually and in person. All writers welcome! A certain kind of guided, detailed writing can not only help us process what we’ve been through and assist us as we envision a path forward; it can lower our blood pressure, strengthen our immune systems, and increase our general well-being. The act and process of writing has well-documented mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health benefits. During this workshop we will begin with wellness practices to set the tone of the space. There will be a guided writing activities and/or prompts and an open floor for share outs. The writing activity has flexibility in a variety of areas: poetry, creative writing, self-care journaling, writing prose or short stories. Age demographic will dictate show flow, discussions and share outs. The theme of or vision of the workshop will cater to your vision.
